According to Arvand Free Zone Organization, more than $1.4 billion worth of non-oil goods were exported from the region in the last Iranian year (March 2015-16). As reported by IRNA, Iraq accounted for one-sixth of the total exports from Arvand, which is a 155-square-kilometer industrial zone located in southwest Iran and bordered by Khorramshahr, Abadan and Minoo Island.
